6.883 Class on Cell Phone Computing

Course 6 has a class this semester with a lot of useful info on GPS, Cell tower tracking, etc.

One of the course slides contains a link to a lot of useful J2ME packages that might be useful for your development. For example they ahve Web Service API, as well as Location API (but the latter was developed by Nokia, Frank's biggest competitor, so dont use it, ask Frank to email you Motorola Location API instead)

the a780 actually uses JSR179 for location which was developed primarily by Nokia. You can just download the Jar for this from Nokia or just email me if you don't want to go through the hassle of finding it on their website.
