Collaborative Photo Sharing

Check out this new Collaborative Photo Sharing site: http://www.theblackstripe.com. In class tonight some of you were talking about placing the locations of photos on Google maps - this website might be one way of doing it. At the very least, it's an alternative to Flickr. What do people think?

Also, check out this new site from Engadget -- Engadget Mobile. Engadget Mobile is a new blog devoted specifically to cell phones and mobile technology. I'm going to add it to the link bar on the right.

There were a couple of MIT WikiMap projects done for 6.831 this past Fall, one of which used the Google Maps API and the other using a JAVA applet which allowed you to upload images to pins/markers you placed on the map.
